You had me cracking up at this, mainly because it you make it seem so obvious.

Hoof, Your killing me, I really was looking for one that I could cut up, then this one popped up and I've been talking myself into it for the last few days.

Just some pics of the bike. I'm really happy with this one. Nice to have one that has been molested over the years. Also, after riding the cb200 this bike feels like a beast.. I had a Vmax before I started riding the cb200 regularly and that took a lot of getting used too.

I just picked this 1976 cb360T up. Has been in storage somewhere since 1983 and has only 1200 original miles. Everything seems to be original, tool kit, wiring, fuel and brake lines, paint, exhaust, etc.... It runs and drives. Front brake is a little sticky and the float valve on one carb...

new starter solenoid and starter button wiring help

It wasn't mentioned and probably assumed, but I'll just say that you want the power coming from the ignition switch unless you want to be able to crank the engine without it starting.

    CB200 Charging issue

The green wire circuit was only being grounded through the original rectifier. I ran a jumper from an open bullet connector on the original harness underneath the seat to a chassis ground and then the sparck moto R/R worked as a direct plug-in. The PO had taken the bike apart and put it back...

    CB200 Charging issue

Sonreir, This is what I figured out and if you don't mind, let me know if this makes sense. Your regulator won't allow me to start the bike until I ground the green wire. I run a jumper from the plug to ground and I get full voltage to my headlight and I can start the bike. With a radioshack...

    CB200 Charging issue

Sonreir, Thanks for walking me through this. I measured the wires in the headlight bucket that would go through the switch. They are yellow with a white stripe and they have a factory jumper between them. With them disconnected, I get .3 oneone side and 2.1 ohms on the other. connected, I...

    CB200 Charging issue

My bike did not come with a headlight switch. The yellow/white wires are jumped to each other in the headlight bucket. Measurements from the stator to the rectifier: Pink to Pink was .3ohms from yellow to yellow was .3 ohms from white to yellow was .4 ohms I believe the measurements from...

Measuring voltage at that black wire, I measured around .4v less that what I measured at the battery.

    CB200 Charging issue

Well, I buttoned things back up. I took the opportunity to strip the paint and polish the engine covers while I had the stator out along with replacing the cover bolts with some SS ones. The replacement CL200 Stator performed exactly the same as the original stator as measured by voltage at...
