Hi Stroker, thought I'd just say hello from chilly UK. Haven't been on ddt site for a while, but don't worry as I still have my Ace. It's wrapped up for the winter now so it's hibernating. Happy New year to you.

Hi Kev, Brown belt looks good on black tank. Loose pants = proper balls out racing.

Hi Kev, yes a few have done it and it looks so much better. What I did was to trawl through the charity shops looking at the different belts as there are loads to choose from. Once you have your belt fasten it and then cut it opposite the buckle so that when laid out the buckle is in the middle...

Just been looking at photos of my Ace and seen that my brake pedal stop cam is already set in the most down position. But even so, ridding with balls of feet on footrests gives you more feedback and control of your bike.

When I put clip ons on my Ace I didn't have to do any changes to the brake pedal. All I do is to ride with the balls of my feet on the foot pegs and then move when needed to brake.

Got a nice surprise yesterday, when I visited my local M/c dealer I was given these titanium rear wheel spacers made by the other Ace owner in town. He is an engineer and said "as I was turning these for my Ace, so I made two sets." Kind man. He has only just bought his Ace, so I will get him...

    Clutch Judder

Nothing to report on clutch judder on mine. Make sure that there isn't way to much play (slack) in the clutch cable. Then I suggest trying different approach's to setting off. less revs less slip, more revs more slip. That sort of thing till you find one that works.

leaking fuel cap fix? and stale fuel smells's

Second post today (time on my hands), Well I was messing with other bikes I have and tried the fuel cap off my Honda CM200. Not only does it fit and has stopped the leak when I have nearly a full tank or braking hard, but it also looks like it's from correct period.

    Ace Panniers / Saddlebags

Hello again, Thought I'd show you my small pannier (not quite a pannier) that I carry spark plug and spanner in. This is off a 60s/70s cycle and fits neatly where some Ace's have a second lifting handle. No room for any sandwiches, good job it's a cafe racer. Tad
