would I take off the spark plug and put a straw or something to find tdc? and which piston am i finding tdc for since they aren't synced?
or what method would you guys use? and ill double check and make sure its not on the backside.

I am working on a friends cl350 and I am trying to adjust the points but there is absolutely no marker on the stator to adjust them, has anyone else had this problem?
believe me ive tried. i literally have 6 fuel filters sitting in front of me. I did not however try the looping method. This is only for now seeing as how this is my daily driver.
Nevermind i figured it out!!!
I ended up smashing one of the 20 (not really) i bought and jamming the mesh into a decent size tube then with hose clamps going to the smaller tubing im using its working like a champ......till it clogs up haha
the problem with the 90 degree filter is that mine angle between lines is more of 45 degrees and once again crimps the hell out of the line. ok ill post a pic
Does anyone know of any ways to make your own fuel filter. I know they are cheap but my petcock and carb inlet are so close together that i am unable to fit any fuel filters. It always crimps the line or has some weird angle to it that keeps it from functioning.
