Don't understand why you have to line an aluminum tank except for maybe pinhole leaks from the welds you may be concerned about.

Looks great. Glad you got it to work. My way was more old fashioned as I do not have a lathe. Good job.
Thanks for continuing to share your exploits on your Buffalo. I have found the stock clutches work even with more HP if you bead blast the steel plates. Once the steel plates glaze they lose grip. Also bead blasting makes them a little thicker as well helping them grip more. Measure them out...

You can take those later T/GT500 aluminum extensions and use those for the wedge pieces. If you need some others I have them.

Make an aluminum wedge, thick at the bottom and thin at the top in the shape of the gasket. Put a gasket on each side and then the intake boot. It will get your carbs more parallel to the piston. I had angle milled some cylinders before and you...
