CB1100F

Mounts welded in for the tank, and seat, and they are now mounted solid.

That pretty well wraps up all of the fab work outside of an under-tail electronics tray.

It looks awesome. It's pretty tall looking with the suspension unloaded. How does it sit/feel under normal suspension compression?

I quite like how the stance has turned out.

I am a half inch lower than stock in the front, 1" taller in the rear. Should help out a touch with the increased rake the stock 1100F has over the 750/900.

It looked a bit taller than it is without the exhaust on.

Once that's on, it'll look a bit more normal.

Like the way this is going for sure. Are you keeping the factory paint scheme? It looks good on there.

I had considered it. But, I'm on a battleship grey streak right now.

I'm thinking black frame/wheels with some metal flake, and battleship grey bodywork.

Not a color you see all that often on bikes.

It would be a shame to paint over the original paint, if it is in nice condition. If I were you I would look for a tank that needs paint, you could sell the one you have for a nice buck, if it is in good shape.

It looks nicer in photos than it is. Several dime sized chips in it. If it were a bit nicer, I'd have a shop color match the seat and be done with it.

Got the measurement taken for the offset front sprocket yesterday. About to give PBI a ring and get one of those built and on the way.

M-Unit Blue ordered last night. It should be here Wednesday. Think I'll tackle all of the wiring before I break the bike down for paint and a engine rebuild. Still need to decide on a headlight arrangement, and if I want to run a fairing up front or not. I'm leaning towards a little bikini fairing I have a mold laying around for.

Bit of a snag. PBI is telling me they only do rear sprockets. That's who I got my front from for my 750.

Any recommendations for a custom sprocket?

I really like the stock fairings on these bikes but I guess that'll only work if you stick with the square headlight set-up

This is the fairing I'm thinking about going with.

Small, fits tight. Give me a nice hidden area for a phone charger, and a pair of speakers.
