mod done. I cleaned shop tools were everywhere. Then cleaned the lens inside and out with rainx glass. Then took off the tach, cleaned and hit it with rainx plastic. Then sanded the bucket in prep for either black or tank or accent colour paint.also clened socket and put LED inside.

Pulled the trigger on these. Michelin City Pro, best rated small bike tire I could find and for $160 with new tubes shipped to the door I'm happy. Fortnine.ca

They are reviewed as good all weather grip, long life and hard to puncture. All good things for a first time riders bike

Looking good man. I like seeing all the progress. I am in the middle of a move, so I haven't gotten to really get after my GN125 winter build yet. When I do I will definitely be referring to this build thread.

Thanks Guys. I was playing around with the caliper. It is for a CR125 so I googled that and the way I thought I could mount with a bracket puts it exactly where it would go on the CR125 fork and disk so that's perfect. Going to do a little CAD tonight if I have time. Cardboard aided design. My shop supervisor here is looking in the scrap bin for some bits of 1/4" alloy plate for me too

Might go with something a LEEATLE bit more solid. Not saying it won't hold up under braking, but might rattle a little.

Ha, I glued up 2 sheets of 1/8 mdf to use to make a mock up tonight, then once I get a template I'll trace it onto the 1/4" alloy I am hoping to snag from the scrap bin here at work

Hahaha I liked the zip tie. This thing is coming along nicely. What a cool piece.
Thanks, that was just to get a pic to get my brain around making a bracket. I think the red paint scheme will work, it will be more than one piece as to brace it at the axel bolt will need to be offset to keep the caliper aligned.
