    CB350 Shifter Assembly

Yup, hard to tell on the fiche. The whole thing is a bummer because I would be fine if I didn’t lose the collar (13) through 6 moves while having the engine torn apart [emoji2369]

    CB350 Shifter Assembly

Hello everyone. Working on putting together my CB350 engine and ran in to issues putting together the shifter. I have this collar that seems too big to fit in the fork, even though I bought the listed part number. I assume it’s supposed to fit in the fork but figured I’d check before filing it...

Post a pic of your latest purchase

Traded the 82 900F for its 23 year newer sibling. Sad to see the 900 go but needed something better to commute with and can’t justify having the 900 as a project alongside my Toyota rust bucket that’s taking up my garage.

    cheap Chinese gas tanks

I bought one of these from 4into1 for my CB125, had to mod the rear mount to work with my rubber tank mount. The rubber pucks for the front mount on my factory tank are too big for this tank, what did you guys use? Looks like I need ~7/8" OD to fit the tank, then I'll make a couple tabs that...

    CB125S "Susie" Take Two

It runs!!! Spent a day working on it, found out the pin for the mechanical advancer for the timing managed to fall out of the cam so the advancer was free spinning, put that back in, re-set the point gap, timing, and valve timing then just kicked for hours tweaking the carb until it ran and...

    CB125S "Susie" Take Two

Merry Christmas everyone! Been working on the bike for a couple of days, made a pan to mount the battery under the seat, and started working on mounting the new tank. Rear mount is done, just need to make some front mounts to work with the Honda frame. Unfortunately my welder is back down in...

    CB125S "Susie" Take Two

Got home for Thanksgiving and since everything is locked down I got some time to work on the bike. RedKote job went to shit but did expose a couple of pinholes on the bottom of the tank. Plan is to pick up one of the ebay universal tanks and make it work. Tried starting with the "gas in a water...

No worries, I was able to find the old bookmark I was looking for by just searching on the new site. Figured it was worth asking though. Thanks!

NEW SITE - BRINGING OVER YOUR OLD BOOKMARKS

Hi Tim, sorry to dig this up but I couldn't get that link to work. Is it possible I'm just too late and the old site is gone for good?

    1982 CB750F...Better Devil

Looks like that arches up a bit more than the braided line on my 900F, but the fitting on the caliper side of mine isn't flat so there's a bit more hose to the left of the clip on the brake stay... Hopefully that makes sense haha

    1982 Honda CB900F “Holly”

It felt fine taking it to 100+ before, but haven't gone over ~85 with the fairing on yet. Sounds like I have another excuse to ton up now! UPDATE: Briefly got up to 100 on my ride to work this morning, didn't notice any instability. Wasn't there for long though.

    1982 Honda CB900F “Holly”

Seems like the fairing is helping out with the wind, definitely taking a lot off my chest. The bottom half seems pretty secure but the top shakes quite a bit so I might need to think of a way to reinforce it. I have some random carbon strips so might buy some epoxy and glue a couple strips on...

Didn’t like how much wind I was catching on the highway so I decided to roll the dice on an EMGO fairing. Seems like it suits the style of the bike and I’m happy with it. Once I buy an expansion tank and spray gun it’ll get painted gray to match the tank along with the “new” tail and front...

    CB125S "Susie" Take Two

I bought one of these back when I was doing the wiring on it in 2013. I’m also planning on converting everything to 12V around Christmas, time permitting.

    CB125S "Susie" Take Two

Well, the CLR did a good job of cleaning the tank out, however I managed to totally botch the red kote. Spilled everywhere and of course we didn’t have any acetone or MEK in the garage so I wasn’t able to clean it up. In a panicked attempt to salvage my paint I sprayed it with goo gone, and I’m...

    CB125S "Susie" Take Two

Well, Memorial Day didn’t happen due to COVID, but I did get a week off so I’m back home and trying to get some work done. I bought another carb, seems like a much better VM22 copy so we will see. I did notice the float was bent on the old one, maybe that was the problem. Today I got the new...

    1982 Honda CB900F “Holly”

Well, the carbs are back on the bike and my problem seems to be fixed! Still idles good, runs good around town, will rip up to the ton getting on the highway, and will cruise at 75 easily and I can accelerate from there without issues. Teazer, how do I check the fuel level cs float height?
