    Ton up SR250: 100mph, 100kg, 30hp

A few more parts taking shape. A trimmed guard - much lighter than stock :D Grommeted holes in the guards for mounting - vibration damping. And a trimmed and modified speedo bracket - for the new unit.

    Ton up SR250: 100mph, 100kg, 30hp

An update on some of the electrics... By removing the electric starter I could also remove the starter relay and safety relay (cuts power to the starter relay in the case that the bike is in gear or clutch not pulled in) and the associated wiring that goes with those components. It will be...

    Ton up SR250: 100mph, 100kg, 30hp

I wasn't satisfied with the slow pace of the project and felt pressure to get it done for the coming riding season... that is already upon us! So I took a few days off work in March to be able to leapfrog a few steps and get back on track. Now I have a rolling chassis and have started working...

    Ton up SR250: 100mph, 100kg, 30hp

I measured up the lengths required for the new custom cables I will be ordering - to suit both the lower clip on position and the new brake set up. I have created some drawings for these cables to be able to send to Venhill who make them: https://www.venhill.co.uk/ I have attached the...

    Ton up SR250: 100mph, 100kg, 30hp

I was lucky that I had two decent fork stanchions for this bike - many old SR250 forks get terrible corrosion. There were no issues in the 'working' area of these, however there were a few small rust spots that I wanted to address. I had seen this fix method somewhere online and decided to...

    Ton up SR250: 100mph, 100kg, 30hp

Can highly recommend SuperSprox! What a sweet service! Will def use this in the future. The sprocket came in even lighter than expected - at 240g-ish. Decent weight savings here, especially unsprung mass. Now got the rear wheel assembled and ready to go in the frame. I tracked down a...

    1983 XV500 Cafe Racer

As others have said, awesome cutting table :D I am really looking forward to seeing where you go with the exhaust as well! I will likely be trying something similar for the XV535. I would like to route the headers that way to equal lengths and have the possibility to run either open pipes...

    SR500 street tracker from boxes

I am actually very much the same - riding is fun, but building/wrenching is even more fun. Good call outsourcing that stuff, I did the same and am very happy with the results :) Nice wheels!

Awesome! I enjoyed that. I guess you too are watching the Youtube channel '2Stroke Stuffing'? And his series 'The Worlds Most Powerful 2Stroke? If not, I highly recommend it, he is an awesome guy and it is very cool to follow along on his journey: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheAdegnes

    Project CB690 (KTM 690 engine in a CB550f frame)

Awesome man, great job. Will almost be tough to ride it for a while and enjoy it, then pull it down for finishing and wait to ride it again! Haha

    Project CB690 (KTM 690 engine in a CB550f frame)

Well deserved! It's a bloody beast of a build :D I am keen to hear how the exhaust silencer goes... And what was the reason for the new radiator design? Overheating or looks? Or both? ;)

    SR500 street tracker from boxes

This is going to be nice! Will you do the head work yourself? Pressing out that bust old valve guide and pressing in the new bronze one?

This is how I solved the hole in the head from removing the tach drive entirely... A Jadus Tach Plug plus a turned extension. Works sweet :)

    Kawasaki Z1000 Turbo Reborn

Oh yeah, sorry, got carried away with my own fantasies. I guess boring it to 1428cc will solve the low comp turbo piston problem. Looking forward to result even sans-turbo :)

1999 Honda Sevenfifty bratstyle cafe racer.

I have never seen so much potential in these! The beefy 17'' front wheel looks so cool and the way you have managed to match the side covers to the tank looks fantastic - nice work! Good job on the subframe and seat as well :) A random thought for a 4-banger like this... Have you considered...

    Kawasaki Z1000 Turbo Reborn

I'm in! Yes, Sanctuary build lovely bikes - drool worthy. Pretty $$$ from the look of it! By the look of the set up, it was drawthru? And by the looks of it, one tube tube/line from the intake plenum is for a boost gauge? And the other one is connected to a valve in the exhaust header? Is...
