Parts shop closing in Ohio 200 bikes and thousands of parts must go.

Hey gang, A huge indoor parts house/dismantler is closing shop after more than 25 years. I am in no way affiliated with this shop, but I used to buy parts pretty frequently when I lived in Columbus years ago. 200 bikes. Thousands of square feet of parts. Closing in March, so he's motivated to...

    Instructional Videos

Lots of good suggestions above. I'll chime in and riff on the topic a bit. I am continually surprised at just how many people are baffled/intimidated by electrics. Perhaps you should start with a super-basic conceptual explanation of what all is going on in a bike harness, and explain the...

    8 Cylinders!

Impressive! I wonder how they plan on keeping it cool. They appear to be oil cooled blocks, but I don't see a cooler. Might need a pull fan behind it too, methinks. Still, kudos for those who build/engineer it!

I've had a Barnet clutch in my Z1 for 18 years with no issues. I do not race it, however. Barnet frictions, stock steels, Barnet springs & roller hearing throw disc. Good to go.

    Plastic fender to look chrome?

Hola brain trust. I have a plastic Ducati Monster front fender I am using on a build that I would really like to appear "chrome". I have talked to plating outfits who declined. I have talked to Hydro-dipping outfits who declined. I have tried vinyl myself and had a prop vinyl guy try. No...

82 Virago 750 help a buddy get back on the road winter project.

There's bound to be a donor engine somewhere with a cam sprocket. Flipping it might work to make sure everything turns over, but I wouldn't run it like that.

Successful 81 exciter 250 cdi ignition box rebuild

Nicely done! Some of them are completely filled with resin and are effectively impossible to repair, but for those that aren't you have shown a light into a dark tunnel. In the immortal words of the farmer from "babe": "at'll do. yes, at'll do"
