Does anyone have a spare CB200 header laying around? If I could get the ID and OD of where the header sits in the cylinder head I could compare that to the CM200 units to see if they will work; I believe they should work, I just don't have the extra cash to throw at a set of CB200 headers only...
Have had great difficulty locating these as the header and muffler are a welded unit.
My question is: will a CB200 exhaust header work with the CM200 cylinder head? Thank you in advance.
Did you rivet the metal together for the battery tray or did you weld it? Curious because I am looking to make something similar for one of my bikes. Your 450 is looking great so far!
If you have any experience with old school oxy/fuel welding, the actual mechanics are pretty similar to TiG.. good referrence point to start with, nice score on the machine
I agree it looks good with a matching color side-cover. Could you use mircrosoft paint or something to see what the overall look would be if you took the bottom third off of the side-cover? I've seen some side covers that have that look on smaller displacement bikes and they look pretty neat...
Hey Maritime, bike is coming along great. I really like the color choice, would look nice with a burnt-orange leather saddle, just my 2cents in the well.
