Nice, mine is an older version, but after using it once on the tigers rear wheel I can say it is worth it for the frustration it saves. I don't know if the newer ones can use it but the hitch mount is nice if you don't want to bolt it down. Make sure to get some good lube to go with it, I've...

Got a new rear tire and wheel bearings for the tiger 800. 3 of the 5 bearings were tight and 2 of the 3 were definitely gritty. I finally used the no mar changer I picked up and have to say it saves a lot of frustration.

Damn, that sucks. That took a few people and a big truck. The more I see the happier I am I left washington a few years ago.

Front mounts are 75% finished. Once that's done its time to start assembly on the motor.

I picked up an xr200 basket case for $350. It had been "rebuilt" but smoked. The guy that I bought it from thought it would be a cheap fix but was over their head. It was on marketplace for 1k, then dropped to 800, then 600, then I offered 300, and after a little back and forth 350 was agreed...

Thanks! This should be about my ideal trail bike. Plush suspension, with linear predictable power.

Cradle is partially welded in, and one side of the head steady is done.

It's a tight fit, but the neck brace clears the head. Tube showed up so next step is to remake the cradle and set up the front mounts.

Rear motor mounts are done. Next up are the fronts and when the DOM shows up I'll redo the cradle.

If it runs and has a title you did good at $600.

Some slow progress. I think the engine is sitting where I want, made a super basic stand out of scrap to line things up. Cylinder is off getting bored, maybe it'll be ready by spring.

Picked up a no-mar tire changing stand with hitch mount, bar, bead holder, balancing stand, the full kit. It's used but I paid less than half the normal price.

I got it off amazon. As mich as I would prefer to buy elsewhere no where local had one. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08BZX4XGY?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I don't have any film on the inside of the window. I left it off and lost the pieces that came with it. I ordered the wiper since it seems to be fairly normal to have one on a vapor blast cabinet. If it causes me problems it'll all be on me and can be removed. I've got a fair bit of...

I got a 12v power supply, a foot switch, some waterproof LEDs, and hopefully will get the wiper kit soon. I also adjusted the pressure switch on the compressor so it shouldn't have to work as hard. The last "upgrade" I got is an aquarium heater. It sits near my garage door and winter is...

The guy in the video is a little out there, but it's a very informative video. He even gets into the math behind sizing holes for the agitation loop.

I don't have any build up pics. I followed this guys video for plumbing it. The cabinet was assembled as per the manual, but I left out the bottom valve for draining media. I got bulkhead fittings off amazon to get the hoses inside. Overall it's a very easy conversion.

Well here's an update. It works! The switch I got for my compressor is lower pressure than it could be, so that's a future upgrade. I need to add more lights and a wiper, but I'm pleased with the results. Tested it an an ATC cylinder I'm going to use on the xr build.

Your video was one of the many I watched. Compressor is plumbed, regulator and foot switch are in place, just need some 3/4 hose for the agitation loop. Almost ready to test.

I've got a 4300gph trash pump, it's what I saw a lot of the DIY set ups using. I've got a nice foot switch for the air, 6 gallon bucket for slurry, 60 gallon 5hp 2 stage compressor, no wiper yet. Hopefully it's worth all the work.
