I replaced the cracked o rings on the t fittings and now they won’t fit into the carb bodies. The ones I removed had a flat outer edge which I assumed got that way after 30 years. My question is, are there special o rings for these fittings???

Also working on mounting tach. I found this bracket in my parts bin that will work. Welded the back cover of the tach to the bracket. I think the angle is good. Not sure how much of the “ears” to lop off. I plan to mount a mini speedo to the left of the tach.

Cold weather caught up to me right as I was starting my seat. Hoping my slow cure hardener will work in my 60 degree basement.

Man, that’s coming along nicely. I went through two moves in the last five years, so I know how that goes. [emoji1]

Cool. The can nor cap had the name of the color! Tiny letters on the back above the directions say “Cap indicates color”. [emoji1]

Yes. I had to cut a section out of the center of the hoop and weld it back together because it was just too wide. Now my center slot has been shortened substantially. With my limited welding skills, it was a challenge. I think it will still work fine.

Engine so far. Did my clutch pack yesterday. Still waiting for springs to arrive. New carb intake boots. I really hate trying to jam the carb bank back into place. Motor pretty much cleaned and painted. Some touch up needed, though. Found an unopened can of Duplicolor satin finish engine enamel...
My neighbor across the street is a retired machinist. I couldn’t be more fortunate that he likes me. [emoji1] He makes me stuff like this boss for a pair of swingarm spools

Welding isn’t the prettiest. Still learning. JB Weld will be used to smooth out the ugly. [emoji1]
Adjustable shocks from a ‘93(?) Kaw Zephyr. Not pleased with how the springs turned out. I may have them and the collars powder coated.
