the black is original paint the frame was put in my electrolysis tank to remove all rust and then coated in linseed oil i keep coming back to the bike to find people confused and trying to work out what the finish is
thanks guys , got it running much better yesterday swapped out the carb for a 30mm few hours swapping jet and its a lot happier same cant be said for the sxxt rear shocks one fell apart with only a few miles on them were far to hard anyway.
hi guys new to this forum thought id put up my latest build,1976 cb125j with a 156fmi motor. 150 barrel. ported polished big valve head. was my first time building a set of wheels 1.85/3.5 17 still a bit to do.
I've just done a 150 conversion on a156fmi, i used the 125 head and cut in the larger 150 valves which i polished and shaped as well as port and polished the head, and would say with mine i had to get the longer 150 push rods to get the rocker angle right.
