Thanks beachy......this is never going to be a megabucks build... I love seeking out a part that will do the job, all psrt of the project for me. My son is involved at a consultancy level for me to run things by and his rational helps keep me on track and focussed....I tend to flit from one...

My free of charge headlight pod arrived today....mocked it up to see how it'll look....OK I reckon. Going to paint it white to match the bodywork/tank/seat unit etc. Just need a headlight unit/bezel for it now. Can you tell which bike was the donor?

Made a bit of time today, trying to sort my shit out as the garage is a proper mess. Also, stripped, cleaned n painted the inner surround that was corroded.....came out nice :) I didn't attempt to touch the face as it's a weathered bloom finish and I didn't want to disturb and spoil it. It's...

Problem: Solution: ZZR brake lever pivoting on the footrest spindle, the drop link will operate the m/c nicely I reckon. Just enough clearance to work fully.

Thank you stroker.....I like that the few 'spare' pieces I have acquired come into good use....not quite what I intended but it'll work all the same I'm hoping. I'll see about spacing the leftside peg out a touch, maybe 15mm to balance and possibly align with the gearchanger better too.

2x stroke street tracker - project coming together slowly.

Further to my previous post I've had a think....and come up with an alternative brake pedal solution using the ZZR pedal pivoting on the footrest spindle, it clears the enginecase and zorst as well as deliveing enough travel from the built in drop link, to operate a rear brake m/c. Just need to...

Meanwhile, on'totherside the brake pedal will require some thinking about it seems.... Two options as I see it....either cut n shut the existing pedal, it'll need straightening along the pivot line and curving to clear under the peg. Or, find a suitable pedal off another bike with an 18mm...

Leftside footpeg mash up turned out nice :)

Leftside footpeg has worked out well I reckon.....an amalgum of CBX & ZZR parts have come together well and should work well, with enough room to foot the brake pedal and gear changer. I like the random loop that sits around the swingarm spindle (which needs shortening about 10cm)

    "Tangerine Dream" / Glemseck - KZ750

Yay...upholstery means the build is nearing completion.....and there's no substitute for pro stitching. Even your 'freebie' is an investment IMO.

Concentrating on the zorst while I await the brake pedal delivery. Looks like there will be just enough clearance? I'm not expecting the engine/exhaust to move very much in use so think a 5mm clearance will do....anyone say different? The brake m/c clears nicely too......thinking it might...
