I anodized a part I milled for my boat. Not overly difficult. Just some sulfuric acid and a battery charger essentially. Here is is raw and brushed: Any after anodizing to match the rest of the boat hardware:

Nice! Nothing like that first start after a rebuild! Some jackass stole my old sign at work so I made a new one: Cut the blade out and then put another piece behind it so it's got some depth. Copper patina on both pieces.

They are cheapo LED's, I run them in a few car builds and in my motorhome they are great for 70 bucks a pair! No idea how they will hold up to motorcycle use but they are cheap and easy to replace if they fail...

We are in the middle of nowhere, I've got a primary disconnect on the outside of the house that after inspection i'll probably add a plug to so i can switch to genset power if I want to. They are real picky about that here we have to have auto transfer switches ($$$) and other crap so some moron...

I would never recommend soda to my worst enemy. The mess is astounding. The guys that did it were the "pros" as well but no amount of apologizing or making excuses cleans baking soda from every single surface in the house. A clusterfuck all around on that one.

Thanks guys, It's been fun, slowly getting to the stage where things are getting actually finished, its'a good feeling to wrap something up for good. Got the breaker box finish wired the other day, simple thing but man it felt good to knock that off the list!

Good eye! Yeah because we are slow it basically sat all winter without a roof and a sealed crawlspace. Once it got wet in there it stayed wet all winter. We had to have the whole thing soda blasted and remediated. All good now but my got what a gigantic pain in the ass (and expensive). Lesson...

Thanks! And it can't come soon enough lol. I'm sure everyone that does any big projects knows it comes in waves, sometimes it's fun and sometimes it's just a slog to the finish. I'm currently slogging through it. Been doing that siding by myself for about 3 weeks now and man I'm ready for that...
