    Cobbling together a Ducati 350

The bikes themselves I don't particularly love. On the other hand, the motors are awesome. Lacey Ducati offers everything to make them a bangin little powerplant, so it'll be my job to design the rest around it.

The Amalgam: honda past meets present, take 2! or 3?

Jig is up, and frame is in. I hacked out more of the frame than i did originally, and made a solid plan, just waiting on metal now. Motor is moving up 1.5 inches, and will be better aligned. I have to say, with a jig, this is almost easy. The plan is new downtubes (again) now that i hacked the...

The Amalgam: honda past meets present, take 2! or 3?

Still a backbone, but reall cool design. I decided i am going to chop this frame up and start there. 3 reasons. 1. I was to use original gears lined up perfectly. 2. I want to fab a more aesthetically pleasing design. 3. I wanna put hard miles on this, so i want it overbuilt.

The Amalgam: honda past meets present, take 2! or 3?

Yep! The problem is its taken too long. At this point with my lathe and frame jig its probably faster to start fresh. I can do a wick frame design im itching to try, and i have a different set of wheels i even want to use.

The Amalgam: honda past meets present, take 2! or 3?

Lol. But i can service the motor in frame this way! I may tweak it a little, on the fence. To be honest im on the fence about just building a whole new one now that i have a jig.

The Amalgam: honda past meets present, take 2! or 3?

Frame is already cut, i dont think i was clear. It doesnt hit the swingarm, it hit on the lower part of the chain. Easy fix really. And the chain isnt inder tension in that photo.

The Amalgam: honda past meets present, take 2! or 3?

It's been a while, but the weather gave me the bug to finish this, I'd rather not be riding something I didn't build this year, and being this project is so close to completion, I'm looking to to bring it over the finish line. That being said, the skateboard wheel fix for the chain hasn't been...
