I saw that 4into1 has gaskets and rings…didn’t dig to deep though, though I would ask the pros first lol. Pretty sure someone pulled the head on one motor as oil leaks out….
It sounds like the internals are pretty solid then on these then….thats a relief lol
I’ve heard shoulder surgeries are very sensitive for healing properly.,.best of luck and I’m looking forward to seeing the work on this. I got another Goldwing project so I’ll need your motivation lol.
Interesting, thanks for the info. I’ll give them a call and see what they say. I’ll be in touch when I talk to them and the daughter…appreciate your suggestions!
I don’t know how it started, people put ducks on your jeep when You aren’t looking, it’s supposed to be a positive friendly thing I guess…it really gets people riled up on the Facebook jeep pages lol.
Wow….June already….at least I got the pistons out and the head off….ugh….actually wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. I’ll take pics tomorrow since I forgot….
Who would you all recommend for sending the head to to get the bores cleaned up and matched pistons? I don’t know any shops around here….
Good plan…didn’t think of rocking in Gear

Update but not…..still soaking pistons, kickstarter is not moving, although I’m not trying really hard as I don’t want to break stuff…transmission moves from neutral into gears so I’m assuming and hoping all the crankcase is not rusted or keeping the starter from moving. contemplating on pulling...
Haven’t gotten very far…it’s in the garage now..soaking bolts..and pistons….its not turning over by hand…
Its a bit crusty but that’s the grays harbor life lol….
