I can't for the life of me find a product spicifly to keep bare metal from rusting. I found it once before but now I can't. You can even use it over paint that has bare metal showing through it. If anyone knows I'd greatly appreciate it
My k750. Still want to shorten the frame, use the stock rear fairing for a new seat, put my brake light on, slip ons, rear sets, and paint it satin black and I'll be happy :)
Ok great! Thanks a lot. Im not sure what all I need. I know for sure my electric starter doesn't work so I'll need everything so that I can get an electric starter again. Greatly
Appreciate it!
Look for a product called permalac. It's made to protect bare metal. I talked to a rep and u can even let the tank rust, spray permalac on, and it will keep the rust from spreading, and protect it from any more rust from forming.
I have a kz750 twin and my mufflers are rusting out. I bought some dunstall replica mufflers with removable silencers. My question is, will I have to rejet for just the mufflers? I really hope not cuz I don't know how to rejet it. Thanks everyone!
i have a kz750, and im thinking about cutting off some on the frame to make it short. my gut tells me to weld in a brace. but ive seen pictures of cafes, brats where they just cut it and leave like the rugged end look. my question is does it need a brace, or no. heres where i would be cutting...
