Happy National "Ride your dirt bike to work day"!

Just kidding, but why not ride in? It was dark, lots of deer/skunks/coons about, and 48 degrees but 100% worth it. The new "Woods" grade 1974 XL250 is bringing the Joy. Its really National String Cheese, Pepperoni pizza, Punch, and care for Kids day, but we can squeeze one more on there cant we...

No, the movie "The fastest Indian" IS about an Indian. In 1968 Bert Munro went 183.95 mph on a 1920 Indian Scout. Bert may have set other records , but this is the one I was referencing.

A nice Original dealer BMW engine stand for Air cooled twins.

The auction had a wall of OEM BMW tools, and a few bikes too. They were well advertised and brought people from all over. This was in a dusty corner of the basement. I am pretty sure it is authentic, but I'll have to do some closer inspection there. I cant even find an online picture of...

I love that movie. Anyone who goes 150mph prone on a 20's indian on salt in a bathing suit has true grit.

Auction find here...Looks like a genuine BMW dealer engine stand for twins. It is really nicely built. Came in a lot of old jacks. Also scored a pile of Motorcycle Sport Books/Cycle Worlds from '63-76. Tons of neat pics and articles from bygone days.

What tank sealers work for you?

I gave that a try this summer. I stripped the carbs down, gave them a full cleaning. Then Vinegar for a few days with lots of shaking with a small chain inside, and a ton of fine rust came out. Ran the hose through it for a whole day, blew dry, did the WD, looked like new and by October the...

What tank sealers work for you?

There are lots of options out there, and yes I did a search from the past, but I figured I would ask what luck people are having today. What's your favorite and why. Also interested in how long your favorite product has lasted. I really would like to do this 1 time and have years of no trouble...

CB750SC nighthawk not charging...enough that is

Fixed!. The new reg/rec came in today so I popped it on, and low and behold the old one had a crack and a raised bump leading from the crack into the backing material. Fired up and was at 13.8 at 2500.
