    The Norda

That's a revelation seeing that brake lever. I teach an engineering class that races electric cars. We use a thumb throttle and brake lever on a yoke steering wheel, so we have a cable lever to master cylinder. It helps simplify transitioning from drivers that can vary in height from 5 feet...

    1975 Yamaha RD350(LC) Preservation-mod Hellride

Took a chance on a $390 ($500 total with shipping) aluminum tank from India that sells on EBay. Fit and finish is pretty damn good.

    Restoration of a 74 RD350

I may have been confused by the conversation. I didn't think the aluminum rims came on any RDs, except the mags. Most people I know, including myself, use XS rims for RDs to get aluminum which is why I posted what I did before. XS and RD use the same hubs, so you can easily run an XS hub or...

Powder coat or paint a frame

Personally, I like to collect Takasago high shoulder alloy or DID alloy from swap meets and restore them for my builds, then buy spoke sets from Buchanan to match my hubs and build them myself. You can also send your hubs to Buchanan and have them build your wheels. Spoke sets are around $125...

    Restoration of a 74 RD350

74 is the first year of the alloy high shoulder Takasago. They came on 74-79. That's the rim to have on any XS, imo. The steel rear rim is not original for 74. Steel rims were 70 - 73 and 80s Specials. The front wheel is definitely not laced right.

    ‘79 Kz650B - Semi-Trackbike Build

I did a chrome powder on a midpipe I made to match the chrome headers. I was really happy with the results. I say if you like the tune of the current exhaust, nothing wrong with doing a blast and powder over going for the Delkevic. The powder on mine has a bit of an orange peel, so I suspect...

    saving a 1980 KZ750 twin

Love the clamps. I have some Pro Taper bars on my RD and had been questioning for a while that I should change them out because they feel very wide. Then I low slid on the street to avoid a truck that came over the center line and give those bars all the credit for not ruining my fiberglass...

    1982 XR100 80s Action Thriller

Most TPU is fuel resistant. I've read examples of people using it to print carburetor gaskets, but I haven't tried that myself. Both of my attempts so far have been on the airbox side with zero degradation or swelling on the Elsinore so far.

    1982 XR100 80s Action Thriller

I came home from Barber with a 1982 Honda XR100 a swap space partner brought to sell. The tank is dent free and clean, with a nearly perfect patina. I pieced together the engine from several donor anchors I have in the barn, pluse the 100 engine that came with the XL80 in the pic. I'm running...

    1975 Yamaha RD350(LC) Preservation-mod Hellride

That's really cool. It great to get some more history on this bike. Still alive and kicking. It's the bike I ride the most and splits time as my daily with an FT500 Supermoto I built. I swapped the glass tank back out and put it aside with the fairing to get used on an R5 framed project I am...

    DR650 Cafe. Scratch Built Amelioration

Thank God. I didn't want to say it, but that combo is puke in your mouth color. I love that orange tank, though. That up against aluminum will be fantastic.
