I'm going to run a gauge across a mount and see exactly what the differential is a cross the forks with my riding style then make my mind up from there I think.
Thanks for the input I'm glad I asked as it nearly just got put in the box lol.

Hi ho.
Sure I understand on a 200mph super bike being pushed to its limits on hard country roads every little bit counts but... on a little 125 being used for a steady cruise on an occasional Sunday ride out in the sun to get away from the kids and reality of life?
To be honest i won't even...
Ello all.
Thanks for all your info so far however I have another question.
Who has been brave enough to try their bike without the front mud guard I want to remove mine but.... everyone seems to think it acts as a brace for forks.
Call me daft but I fail to see that this can strengthen it...
Happy new year year.
I want to:-
Remove mud guards I prefer this look
Remove side panels I prefer the look of this too
Relocate battery for above
Tidy and de clutter front I like minimalist simplicity
Replace brake reservoir standard one looks s#!te
Replace levers as I want...
yes its achristmas cheer to all.. half a day at work then I'll be wobbling like my bike... Hmmmm... Jingle bells
Don't expect to get too much done to the bike as I have 1991 SAAB 9000 Carlsson Turbo that's in need of some TLC. That to be honest is my priority the bike is a winter toy to play...
I have an oil cap with mechanical temperature gauge built in to display actual oil temp and you can run it when it's in so is quite useful to gauge just what temperature your running at.
Have you checked to see what the effective running team of your oil etc is also. I'd be surprised if it's...
Sorry I havnt had a chance to reply have been ill for for the last week and a bit.
I've checked the head bearings rtf all to be ok so I'm going to pull the wheel and check to see if it's running true or not.
I like how you have added the damper and think I'm going to add one but want to cure...
I meant 37t.... Sorry about that lol.
Ive checked all but tyre and forks maybe next on the cards.
Its not getting the caps off im concerned i can get anything in bits its putting it back together after lol
Thanks Allaster
Hmmm thats what i waa wondering about crazy im tempted with 17/33t.
Tempted with a play this afternoon for a couple of hours which reminded me it starts getting a bit scary at about 60mph (im seriously contemplating a steering damper) and i think the additional torque would be a bit more useful...
Hello again
Firstly what sprockets is everyone running front and back with the 150cc bore. I don't plan to put the head on as I think the difference with this will be minimal.
I plan to shave my frame shortly and was wondering if anyone knows what paint code the red frame is to touch up on...
Hi ho.
I'll bet your screen isn't as much of an air brake as the rest of your bike and you.
Perhaps it's time to go for a fairing? :D
I've toiled with putting a tachometer and rev light on mine there's plenty of options out there I was looking at fully programmable car units encapsulated in...
Ello Ello to you both.
Have spent the whole day reading your forum and have found lots of things to keep me playing for a while.
I'll certainly keep you all posted and hope to help you all to though I'll probably annoy you all with my questions.
