Anyone running electronic ignition? Specifically the Pamco unit with E-advancer? Have you found that it is damn near impossible to kick start the bike when engine is cold? I’m thinking the kickstarter just doesn’t crank out enough juice when the Pamco is installed? Anyone else experiencing this?

FYI Murray’s dual carb kit for the CB550 will use VM34’s. He is working on a few other bikes, so the 550 will be available on the website in good time.

1977 CB550K (K3) It currently has the single left side caliper. I wanted to just bolt on the other side caliper since the fork leg has the mounting holes already, but wondering... Are the calipers and brackets interchangeable from left/right side?? I couldn’t find a right-sided caliper on eBay...

He does indeed do kits for the CB550 (I reached out and he responded), they are barely becoming available and not on the website yet, although I’m not sure which size carbs yet.

Which size carbs are you running for your dual setup? Also, which size would be ideal for a dual set up on a 550? Do you get better throttle response? More power with a dual setup? (Sounds cool because obviously way easier to sync).
