I took ohm readings across the wires of one of my coils. Pink to yellow: 2.0, pink to white:1.4, white to yellow: 2.5. The meter was set to its most accurate setting. I would PM Matt for a definitive answer however.

If you haven't already, take a look at the solar car design reference material, https://www.americansolarchallenge.org/regulations/solar-car-design-reference-material/ . The math in there is way above my pay grade but it may be of use to you.
