I flipped the headlight mounts right to left on my GS. That drops the headlight about 2 inches. I'm only going to run the speedo and I'm making a mount the drops it closer to the lowered HL.

Old lump out. wiring harness out, dropped the tubes about an inch and a half. I have to fab some hangers and cut the old top rear mount because it interferes with the clutch cover. That engine was HEAVY! I had the old exhaust leaning in a corner and...

Bad News! Engine is frozen and I am looking at a full rebuild.
Good News! I am picking up a Katana 600 engine with Yosh pipe and carbs already jetted to it. Has complete wiring harness and a couple of boxes of parts. Pix tomorrow!

K...That worked! Here's the story. Bike was last registered in 93 so I will bring it out of hibernation slowly. A little ATF in the cylinders and new filter and oil. I got Pine-sol to soak the carbs and new starter brushes ordered. I had a superbike bar on the CB but I may go...
