Mobius, Thanks for the reply. I tried to use a countersink tool on the front rim to no avail. But after reading your post I'll have to try it again, I tried to do it without the rim laced so I'll try your method Sent from my iPhone using DO THE TON

After looking at a few picks of other wheels with MikesXS rims I think the problem may be the spoke length. I think the spokes are too long changing the angle at which they exit the hole. Sent from my iPhone using DO THE TON
