As the title says, should this combo give any troubles? Had a discussion with a mechanic that claimed it cannot be done. I might be wrong but the reg/rec should charge it like it would with a 3-phase alt? Looking for people with experience using lithium batteries on 2 phase alternators and...

Tail/seat update

Makes perfect sense, the PO said he did some engine work on it. The crank is good though apart from too much lateral play at the big end bearings. It was running smooth when i tore it down. Got a replacement crank for it which had less bearing play. Anyway i need to split the cases again...

Got the tank mounted and figured out what shape i wanted for the seat.

So i let the bike rot in my basement for a while. Took it out the other day and here it is now. Looking much sharper with the gsxr running gear.

Got the old bike running again with a fresh front tire and a new set of reversed clubmans, it's faster than it looks lol The engine needs a tune up though:)

Made this clock today from a busted cheap wall clock and 4 zip ties and a clutch for my old peugeot 106rallye. Tempted to say it will keep my time from slipping away :P
