Drums are a popular cosmetic item for 70's era vintage cafes. They have a simple great old look vs. disc brakes.
Personally I wouldnt go backwards with a factory disc. The disc brake will stop better and work better and putting a drum on would be just for looks if you have to have it. If you...
This is true to a point. a 90/90 r18 cb360 tire would work great on a wider 2.15 rim. But once the rim gets huge like a MotoGP superbike the rubber needs to get larger too. Its all proportionate to the rim / tire chart and going with the smaller tire / rim ratio on the chart will yield a better...
You want a wide rear tire? Your best bet for bigger looks is to get a 2.15 rim from Mikesxs.com and get a 110/90 rear tire.
This wider 2.15 rim is going to spread that tire out and give it a wider look. As a effect of a wider contact patch you get increased handling and can corner really good...

Matco 88t flex # bfr128lftg orange 3/8 $84 msrp $156+ had for a few months, used on maybe 5-10 bolts, minor scratches on chrome as expected. Its my 2nd one so I dont need...
This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing / balanced vintage jackets I have came accross. I use one just like this in another size. It is in near mint condition, nothing frayed torn or damaged. Leather is thick, and it has crash protection elbow guards, smooth metal zipper.
pics look blue...
The 360 has a more narrow front fender bracket vs. the 350. The biggest tire I found that works without rubbing is a 90/90.
If you want to go bigger, you should get wider rims. This is a great handling and cosmetic upgrade.
On my 360 I used mikesxs 2.15 front and rear rims. I used 90/90 f and...
The 360 front fender has slightly less lateral clearance vs a 350. On my 360 I went with a widley accepted 2.15 mikes X's rim with a 90/90 tire. It fits perfect.
Rear i used the same 2.15 rim with a 110/90 rear tire. A 100 rear tire would be okay too, but I went with the bigger 110 for looks.
thats what I got, For $12 it seems like a good deal, it would have been nice if there was a pre drilled hole for saftey wiring but I can do that on my own. Its not that easy though.
Summers here. Been riding around the neighborhood much? This bike is dialed in. I agree the last fine details can be time consuming. But it's needed to get a fine tuned good running bike.
Whats better, this red anodized aluminum plug, or the other one which is hardened steel looks like. Both magnetized. What are you race guys using for plugs? What should i get...
Like said above, don't use paint thinner/ minreal spirits. Use lacquer thinner.
To reduce paint imperfections and lifting I always do about 2 "dust coats" this builds a foundation for the wet coats. It really helps when there is an in perfection like bare metal exposed from sanding through...
The great thing about real paint is that you can buy a pint or half pint of base coat depending on what color you need and paint a whole bike for $15. I buy base coat that's ready to spray so just pour it in the gun and done.
