    2-Stroke Motorcycle Service Manual

My brother-in-law gave me a copy of a 2-stroke, multi-cylinder motorcycle service manual for Christmas. It's copyright 1975 and includes a couple dozen bikes including Allstate, Bridgestone, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha. Another brother-in-law got me a bottle of Woodford Reserve Bourbon. It...

    1975 T500 Build

I was able to spend a few hours working on the bike over the holidays. The frame and swing arm are back from blasting and have been given a coat of primer while it waits for paint. I've been scrubbing on the engine, trying to remove 40 years of dirt, oil, and corrosion. I'll post a couple...

    1975 T500 Build

I think I read somewhere that the number one rule for fixing up a T500 was that you HAD to start with the oil pump cover. So, not wanting to buck that trend, here's the cover all ready for the rest of the bike to look nice around it. We've gotten the frame and swing arm blasted and will get it...

    1975 T500 Build

That is an absolutely beautiful bike bradj!! I'm keeping all the original parts so if I ever have the resources (the chrome is SHOT and re-chroming isn't an option right now), I can restore it.

    1975 T500 Build

Here is a link to the video of the "first" start since 1989. I put "first" in quotes because we "kinda" had it running before this, as you can tell from the smoke in the air. Both windows and the garage door were open, just not enough breeze! Kicking the beast is my son, Jack. SHHHH! Don't...

    1975 T500 Build

My dad gave me his old '75 Suzuki T500. I used to go on dates with this bike, but it's been in a shed since 1989. I thought I would create a build project here since I'm sure I will have a ton of questions as I go. My 16 year old son and my father-in-law are helping and none of us really know...

Need Advice on a New Tank for a T500

So I have a 1975 Suzuki T500 I pulled out of a shed after 25+ years and I've been playing around with fixing it up. Now I have found out the tank leaks like a sieve. Does anyone here know what tanks could easily replace the original with little or no mods? I could probably find another T500...

    Suzuki T500 Oil Line Needed

No worries, I appreciate the help. I just found a used oil line at a salvage yard in St. Louis. So I should be good to go. Thanks again.

Warning Not a Cafe-Brat-tracker- Resto Mod of 98 Magna

I've got a 2000 Magna. I've had it for years and the only issue has been a bad voltage regulator. It's an absolute blast to ride (although sometimes I wish it had a sixth gear.) You're going to wish you owned that bike!

    Suzuki T500 Oil Line Needed

Thanks for the tip. I've called them and will be sending them a picture of what I need to see if they can help. FYI, Craig Raudman no longer works there.

    Suzuki T500 Oil Line Needed

I've been searching for a replacement oil line for my '75 T500. It's the line that runs from the oil tank to the pump. I'm hoping that with all of the great mods folks are making to their smokers, someone will have one they don't need anymore. I'm stunned by the number of oil tanks I've seen...

    Good Day from the Midwest

Good afternoon, I just joined up after finding this forum while looking for parts for my bike. I expect I'm getting in over my head on this project, so I thought having a few folks who knew what they were doing couldn't hurt. My dad kept the 1975 Suzuki T500 I rode in high school and recently...
