    "Tangerine Dream" / Glemseck - KZ750

I misplaced the twin cable junction for the Grimeca 4LS brakes and can't get an original anywhere. However I found just the twin pull block which attaches to any stock lever ........................ £81 !!!!!! I was resigned to getting one made by my machine shop pal, then decided to have a...

Teazer, you'll be pleased to know we have decided to use the fairing. There's just too many odds and sods to package on the bike - especially as I want to hide the NOS set up and controls / electrics.

Last Toy ? Reliant Scimitar GTE

A couple more from the archives. The cherry red one is the SE5 - very Capri 'ish - although that should read, the Capri was very SE5 'ish as that model came out well before the Capri. That one had an Opel Manta GT front spoiler modified and fitted. The last pic is my Super Street 460ci Ford...

Last Toy ? Reliant Scimitar GTE

Luugo, common sense is saying just drive and enjoy. Plenty of Classic Car shows and rallys to attend in the summer. It's a 1978 model so qualifies for Classic car status. RideSolo - yes easy to confuse from the 3/4 front view - more so the previous model - SE5 [ mine is SE6A ]. Teazer, I once...

Last Toy ? Reliant Scimitar GTE

Decided I needed at least one more 4 wheeled toy before the grim reaper gets me. In the UK we do not have to pay the annual road tax or annual test [ MOT ] on vehicles over 40 years old - being classified a "Historic". That's a saving of around £350 - £400 on the tax, plus another £100 fee for...

Tres Cuatros .............back in the day, Gilera, MV Agusta etc used the 4LS front brakes which were more than capable of helping the bikes to achieve 100mph + laps of the Isle of Man. I don't think my current riding style will push the limit of the drums ...........

Memory fade ............ well it was 1984 !!!! £6.95 was the grand sum I paid for the first editions. I bought two copies, one for my library and one for referrence use. Proved very useful over the years, especially when I was developing the RAM Shox range.

Those "drums" are four leading shoe Grimeca racing items as used on MV Agusta, Gilera etc. [ or versions of ], not the same stopping power as modern discs ....... but hey ho.

Still can't make up my mind about the 1/2 fairing, I may have to go down that route to find suitable places to "lose" electrics, switches, warning lights, NOS controls etc.,etc. The alloy fuel cell is under the main frame, but I think I'm going to ditch the GRP under fairing. The NOS will be a...

Luugo, thanx for the kind words - that ACU badge is killer !!! The back of the brass switch plate is very badly engine turned .That was my plan for the facing surface, but I no longer have a bench pillar drill and it just doen't work doing it freehand. I have never seen US boardtrackers in the...
