OK thanks that's how it is on my CB200T at least must be unique to that bike, maybe a few others too I was able to run replacement switches from a CM185T (I did have to swap the plug for bullet connectors, but same wiring setup)

good info i think on the Hondas wired for Headlight Always On: yellow/red is the power to the starter solenoid (black wire on solenoid is grounded to frame) blue/white is power to the headlight (cuts out when button pushed and transferred to yellow/red)
