    Mods vs. Rockers

You know, guys, you can come out without a bike. There's plenty of bikes to look at and shoot the shit with everyone. Plenty of people came out in cages last year.

    Mods vs. Rockers

I recorded some score for a movie (local director) and 2 guys from the Dang-its played guitar and drums on it. I hope to make it out to see them play. Never seen or heard them before other than what they did in my studio/house. Had no idea they were into the scene either.

    Mods vs. Rockers

It's a good time. I'll definitely be seeing you guys there. I'd be up for helping wrench on weekends if I have no prior obligations. I don't know a whole hell of a lot, but I love to learn. I'm sure part of it will be at the Dubliner, but it's all over the place during the 3 days. Last year it...

    DFW - Perry's Motorcycles Meetup

It was nice to meet you guys. When you get your bikes going, let me know. I'll ride over to Dallas for some riding. I thought Perry was going to be pissed when I knocked off his rear fender just after arriving! Doh, I'm such a klutz! He was such a nice guy and seemed very excited that there...

Cool. Dr Dog is probably my favorite band that is together and playing currently. They are greatness.

    Dallas/Ft Worth Introduction Thread

Not at the moment. Once the record is done and there's something to show, I'll put something together. We used to be in a band together called Washing Machine. We played in Dallas some. This was around 5 years ago. We broke up and I took a job in Pittsburgh. I just moved back about 6 months ago...

    Dallas/Ft Worth Introduction Thread

Brandon, Fort Worth, 27, recently married, no kids. My current ride is an '09 Moto Guzzi V7. I miss vintage bikes, but not the constant attention. I don't have a lot of time and money to spend on bikes right now in my life, like I used to, but I definitely try to fit in some riding when I can...

    DFW - Perry's Motorcycles Meetup

Shit, I thought we were going to ride. Bummer. If it's wet and cold, I won't ride either. I don't really have cold weather gear, but I can make do with just the cold by layering; however, nor do I have any rain gear. Like rkatapt, one or the other, but not both. I guess I could take the cage...

If going downtown, I'd prefer the Saucer too. Uno's and Razzoo's, meh. We could go down to 7th street, just west of downtown. M&O Station Grill has one of the best, if not the best, burger in town. Chuy's just opened and is decent. Fred's Cafe is a neat little bar/restaurant that also has a...

Yeah, I can probably swing it. I live right by Perry's, but I've never been there. Need a more definite time. Any ideas for lunch?

    Love me some Minis

I drive a MINI. 2005 Cooper S. Yellow with white top and wheels. It's a love-hate relationship. They are serious pain in the asses to work on and expensive to pay someone to do it, but very fun to drive!

    recent musical discoveries

Not a huge RJD2 fan, but I have a few albums of his. He's def my favorite of the genre. Him and DJ Shadow. I'm just not that big on the genre, but I do quite like the guys who mix in old jazz and motown like these guys do, or trip-hop. Seeing him live, on the other hand, will give you a whole...

    Magazine...

We're recording an album now, but I don't know if it'd be good material for a cafe mag. It's more in the vein of Dr. Dog -- poppy 60's, a little psychedelic. Anywho, if you need a muzak guy, I'm your guy. PS -- Beaver St...that's awesome hehe. And, damn that's a nice rack in your avatar.

    Old bikes are cool!

Even though I'm currently riding a new bike, I have to agree. If you think about it, in 40 years, will any of the bikes and cars of today be around? Probably not many, if any. Because of all the electronics involved into today's automobiles, it won't be cost effective for any parts manufacturer...
