    Brodie's '72 Honda XL250 Motosport!

So what you are saying is that it's in typical DTT project bike condition? :D  Good luck, you'll do a great job!

    Cb550 R1 fork conversion

Those look like they aren't in bad condition. My first thoughts were that forks from a R6 might be a little smaller/shorter and might look better on your 550, but maybe they'll be ok. I remember @Hurco550 had some forks from a Ninja 1000 that were pretty nice but looked massive. I guess w/o...

    1975 CB125 Tracker project

Of course being such a different than usual color it might sorta drive what color you end up with as a final scheme, but for my tastes, I kinna like it... different than the usual and boring black.

    1975 CB125 Tracker project

Think about it and send me a msg w/ an offer. It can be "cheap + postage" you won't offend me. Might take a little time to get it out to you. Mrs Ridesolo had a knee replacement earlier this week so I'm pretty busy trying to channel my inner Nurse Rachet to take care of her.

    1975 CB125 Tracker project

Looks like this. Might be nice on a smaller bike like that one. Of course it might cramp his style a little if he's planning to take the girls for rides!

    1975 CB125 Tracker project

Hey Mike. I know you've talked about doing a Tracker w/ it, but since I've been your seat provider in the past I may be able to help you again. If you think that a gray upholstered single seat w/ a hump on the back might work for ya I'll try and scare up a picture.

1977 BMW R100/7 Sarcoplasmic Cow Hellride

Sounds good. If you are going to the trouble of a mono shock you might as well go whole hog and do a single side swinger as well.

    Great article about GPS

This link was posted on the BMW MOA forum. Thought I'd share it here, others might get as much out of it as I did. https://www.cnet.com/features/gps-rules-everything-and-its-getting-a-big-upgrade/?ftag=CAD090e536&bhid=25023520845180298478449184484532&mid=13176874&cid=535004125

    Project: Triple Surprise

I had a Cushman Truckster a few years ago that I sold. I had put a Honda Big Red three wheeler engine into it and had it well along but ran outa money, time, and patience. If I had it now I’d have it finished and would be using it.

    Project: Triple Surprise

I found somebody selling a manual for the thing as a PDF file on a thumb drive so I’ve ordered that and it should arrive in a few days. It ought to work out fine on the old beater laptop I have in the shop, but if not I can get an ink n paper one for a bunch more cash. The entire ‘glass front...

    Project: Triple Surprise

When sold as shown above they offered options for the bed; plain, with a box, w/ stake sides, or a box w/ stake sides. There's also a much more rare option that I'd LOVE to find somewhere (but I seriously doubt I will). There were a few of these sold that had a cab included that look like...

    Project: Triple Surprise

Ha, I knew that when I told you the new project is a Harley it would throw you for a loop! If what you have won't work I was thinking that maybe we could bend and weld something made of 1" square tube. The windscreen can be just plexi/lexan, it doesn't have to be safety glass or anything fancy.

    Project: Triple Surprise

Yeah it would. It'll get fat tires for sure. The bigger two stroke would be fun, however there are a couple of details that kind of restrict that; first is that in order to register it in that USV category it can't be able to run over 30mph. The second thing is I learned in my research there...

    Project: Triple Surprise

I knew my next project would come along sooner or later. Since I'll be spending the winter in Ohio rather than going south this one has come along at an opportune time. An older gent near here got this a few years ago and I helped him find a new, oversize piston and get the cylinder bored for...

Hmmm... knobbies on the Rockster? Hey don't laugh, it's got a GS headlight that oughta count for something.

KLR 650 Trans American Trail Ride

Now you are just showing off! Only 28 pounds of fuel plus the weight of the tank, might be worth it, that would make it steady and stable back there. Certainly would give it a "golly, gee whiz" factor that nobody else would have. Of course then you'd need some plastic tubing and a little 12v...
