Getting ready to do some hydrographics on the seat pan and primary cover. This was just a test dip to make sure the film is still good, which it looks like it is. :)
I want to start off by saying, I fully anticipate and expect to be criticized for my points of view on this topic. This is not a problem. The number of people who rattle can on this forum is FAR larger than the people who are shooting paint. The purpose of this thread is to discuss and debate...
I have a lead on this carb and was thinking of using it on my 700cc single carb twin. Essentially 2-350 cylinders firing on opposite strokes. My motor only revs to about 6000rpms and I know the Rebels are closer to 9000rpms, so I think it should work good. It has a fresh rebuild and is ready...
I was curious if the CV carbs that came on the 83 GS550 Suzuki are Mikuni carbs or another brand? Also, what size are they? I ask because I'm sick of my POS Amal carb on my '58 Enfield 700cc and was thinking thinking of rebuilding 1 of the carbs off of the Suzuki and swapping them out. I ask...
On Saturday January 31, 2015 I received exciting news from an old friend of mine I went to school with, Ryan Suchanek (sa-ha-nick). He set the Guinness World Record for fastest wheelie on ice at 117.5mph!!! He had to maintain the wheelie for a distance of 100 meters and the entry and exit...
I'm just about finished building my bike now and wanted to share my tank-seat combo. Bedlam Werks fabbed this beautiful custom seat pan for me and looks so good. Unfortunately, my bike has a big fat ass, so the seat is like sitting on a surf board, but the fit and finished are outstanding...
Finished up my exhaust this week. I converted the dual exhaust to a 2-1 exhaust and installed an Emgo Dunstall replica muffler. I cut the core baffle down to 3" and is sounding really good. I'm hoping to have the bike finished next week. :)

Hey everyone. If you've been following my '58 Indian build, I recently built a 2-1 exhaust out of my dual exhaust. I previously had a pair of EMGO cocktail shakers on the bike and really liked them so I was just going to go with a single. But I was just offered a brand new EMGO Dunstall...
Self explanatory. I'm looking for some old school "moon" wheel covers for a WM2 18" rear wheel. I'm having a hell of a time finding some pre-fabricated ones and was hoping someone on here knows where to find them. Thanks!
I restored my '58 RE Indian Trailblazer about 2 years ago. At that time, I was just interested in getting it running good and looking good. It was a very ugly baby-doo-doo-brown/orange color when I picked it up, and after finding out the magneto was bad I decided to start tearing down the body...
Started working on my gas tank last week getting it ready for the cafe conversion. So far I have about 10 hours into it. It will take another 20 hours before it's finished. Then I just need to order a seat from Dime City.
I've been eyeballing these shocks for some time now. They appear to be of a descent quality and are fully tunable. Has anyone used these before or know anything about them? The price sure seems right. :) Thanks...
Hey everyone! My name is Scottie and I live in the Denver Metro. I do auto body and paint for a living and specialize in custom Hot Rod restorations. I have a 1958 Royal Enfield/Indian Trailblazer 700cc twin that I restored myself about 1.5 years ago. The bike is awesome and I have a lot of...
