Years later! haha Did some testing and found thhe pamco ignition was faulty. Switched it out for an electronic ignition from Charlie's place here in LA and it fired right up. Been running great ever since!

Ok so new coils are in and now I get nothing on either side. nice strong spark, redid timing chain adjustment and valve adjustment, checked carbs again and nothing stuck or clogged. At my wits end here [emoji31] Sent from my iPhone using DO THE TON

Battery is good, floats are good, checked all valve clearances and they are good, messed with the timing in both directions to see if it would fire up on the right side but no dice. I'm going to replace the coils today ,there is spark on both sides but maybe its just too weak? As i mentioned...

Hey guys, did some searching but couldn't find a close enough answer. Here's the deal: Newly rebuilt top end on 1975 cb360, compression is fantastic on both sides (which i take to mean i did everything correctly). New plugs(old wires and coils), but i have confirmed spark on both sides...

Ok cool. So no need to keep it under 3000rpm like when you do the Pistons?

Just put in new cylinder head, camshaft, cam chain, tensioner, guide, valve cover. Do I need to break it in? Only took the Pistons out to change the gasket and honed the barrels a bit before I out me back in, they were in good shape.

Thanks guys! Ending up just finding NOS/Gently used cylinder head, valve cover, camshaft, and rockers arms. Having the cylinder head resurfaced/valves cut etc then should be good to go!

I need a cylinder head, camshaft, and rocker arms if they're in good shape and you're willing to split up the motor?

Hey all, Opened up my valve cover on my CB360 to check on the cam chain tensioners and have a general look see. Anyways i think it's pretty gnarly: 1) The cam chain guide was broken (the peg looking thing that seats in the top anyways) with the metal core exposed, looks like it did some damage...

Sonreir, Cool, i'll swap the fuse location, is there some reason the m-unit instructions had it between the R/R and battery though? I don't have the start wiring connected anywhere since i was going to do kick only. Does it still need to be hooked up somewhere? I also have the tail light set...

Hey guys, Picked up a '75 cb360 with a pretty thrashed wiring harness so I'm redoing it from scratch with an M-unit. This is my first time doing it and I've looked through the 101 thread, the simplified diagrams thread, and a lot of threads regarding wiring with M-unit here gleaning everything...

Yea they were the ones that told me that they "have heard that it works wired to coil #1". Then they recommended I try here haha.

Alternately, anyone know of a tach in a similar style that is designed for 4 cylinder? Haven't seen anything that looks clean as of yet
