    400four, Dueling Banjos

Just wanted to let you know I'm watching this build, as I did your K75. Old Hondas really look fine with all the rough edges smoothed, as you clearly are doing. Love the detail in your work!

    '77 BMW R100S - Refresh

Truly gorgeous! I've spent the past two months freshening my 1982 R100T (naked bike with bags only), acquired late last summer from a friend with serious health issues. I have a long acquaintance with airheads, and they are great bikes. You've done yours proud! Mine's nice, but doesn't compare.

    Flying Brick - '87 BMW K75

BIG K75 fan here . . . have had a K75 and K75RT for years and think they're the most robust platform BMW ever made. Nobody ever called them hot rods or called them torquey, but they will run any speed (that you have any business doing on the street), any time, anywhere. And you can run around in...

    Un-remarkable BMW re-fresh. DONE.

Yeah, these are bikes that aren't recognized as fast or anything special by the general motorcycle community, but they are tremendously competent on any road, any speed (that you have any business using on public roads and then some), any weather. BMW used to be recognized as building a...

    Un-remarkable BMW re-fresh. DONE.

OK, well, if you're sure you won't fall down, great! Only motorcycle I wrecked in 38 years of riding and well over 400K miles was on a perfect, sunny, 80°F day and I dropped it at about 35 mph (it was a demo bike and the front brake locked and did not release). I was wearing all the good stuff...

    Un-remarkable BMW re-fresh. DONE.

Don't know if you have them, but the factory heated grips work well on this bike. They also seem to last longer than either aftermarket ones or the factory heated grips on Harley-Davidsons, which have remarkably short lives. Seems to be raining a bit here this morning, and about 48°F, so I'll...
