I'm not an electrician at all.... that said , if it's not popping your fuse I wouldn't worry about it you have to also remember wasn't built to run the electronics without running your battery out that might be why you have the higher voltage output

So I bought a new headlight with LED blinkers in it, a custom painted shell it looked beautiful but when I went to install it this is what happened.

That makes perfect sense, I contacted the people I bought the speedometer from and I'm waiting to hear back. Now for the clutch sensor issue, when the clutch is out the sensor is making connection and when you push it in it disconnect. Is that correct or should it be the other way around?

I hooked up the brown as the positive and I'm still having the same issue. I have a question I'm not very good at electrical is the sky blue wire a ground? Also I put an voltage reader on it and the blue gets voltage on every gear and none on neutral. I'm pretty good at motor work and designing...

I have the sb wire to the light, however I used a dark blue wire to power the speedo...do I need to use the brown to power the speedo? Thanks for your help Sonreir

I change the speedometer on my Virago , and now with the clutch sensor not hooked up the neutral light will come on in every gear except for neutral. Now when I hook the clutch sensor up the neutral light stays off but the bike will turn over in every gear without having the clutch engaged.
