thanks for the advice guys. i have to say $2100 plus a gas tank is not a lot to pay for a cb750 that has just had all the major service done. still, i've decided I don't want to go down that rabbit hole. maybe someone else will snatch it up.

Saw this listing sitting at $600 for an entire cb750 minus a tank, exhaust and some other small things. I'm close enough that I could go get it if I win, but I'm wondering whether it's a good deal considering the compression could be bad or something. Assuming the engine doesnt need a rebuild...

this bike looks amazing. I'm softening up to the stock wheels, but how are you gonna mount the twin disks on that front? or just run one disk?

according to modern tire convention, your stock tire already has way too much sidewall. This causes tire flex and hurts stability and feeling. that's one of the main reasons for going to a wider wheel. I would also look into getting smaller diameter rims if youre gonna lace them up to the old...

the twin disks look great. does this setup let you keep using the speedo drive? i stand by my statement that it would look best with wider rubber. there are other performance benefits too 8)

I think the seat would look better with either a narrower tank or smaller tank altogether. That tank still looks huge even in comparison to the wide four cylinder.

No problem, it would be a shame to get the bike together and then find out it no longer rides straight. Also, it's possible that the bike has seen some impact force in its 36 years that may have changed its geometry a bit. Not sure you ever mentioned it but, did you ride the bike before...

Subscribed. Just out of curiosity, have you been measuring to make sure the frame is straight while you're chopping it up and welding in new metal? If so, what method are you using? It looks like the fender is sitting a little crooked but maybe it's just my eyes or the camera angle.
