Down under, an idiot and a 400F

Hey Neevo, I remember reading a few pages back in your thread that you were thinking of investing in a spray guy and painting the bodywork yourself, thought I'd share this with you: Bought this the other day for $120 (I'm in Tassie) from the local auto paint shop and I must say, for the...

    Yamaha XS360 Charging Woes

Hi All, Hoping somebody out there has some insight into what may be the cause of my charging issues on my '77 XS360. Here's the scenario: - Engine has been rebuilt (runs great). - All electrical items (horn, headlight, indicators, brake light, switches etc) work. - Battery is fully charged. -...

    Replacement Carb Diaphragms

Hi All, Just thought I would share a good source for well priced replacement rubber carb diaphragms. After discovering a pinhole in my original items ('77 Yamaha XS360, Mikuni BS34's) and discovering the price of OEM replacements, I came across this guy: http://jbmindustries.com They were...

Down under, an idiot and a 400F

Hey Neevo, I fitted an R6 kill switch to my '77 XS360. I wired it into the circuit from the fuse box that supplies current to the ignition. It was the same wire (red/white) into the switch and out of the switch so when it is off the circuit is open killing the ignition and when it is on the...

Attention electrical & lighting guru's! HELP!

Hey jdub, I'm running standard incandescent globes in the signals, haven't had a problem with slow flashing. I had a similar problem to you with another bike and I found that changing the wattage of the globes helped to speed them up a bit.

    FINISHED! Ready To Ride...1971 cb350

Re: My First Build. 1971 cb350 *Exhaust Clearance Issues* Love the look of your bike. Reminds me a bit of an old BSA Goldie. Very sweet. I don't think i'd be too concerned about the dents in the mufflers restricting flow. I haven't been through the rest of your thread, but if the motor is...
