So my '70 CL450 motor just got a nice valve job, cyls honed, started to reassemble only to find one of my followers had decided it wanted to be "one" with its mated cam lobe--and accordingly, both of them are now sacrificial pieces to the gods. Anywho, i'm now looking for either a complete 450...

Just inherited this little gem. I used to ride it when i was little. Then i grew up and used it for tricks, like jumping and maxing out the suspension, riding on 2 wheels, all the good shit...well, 10 years later, its mine. Four flat tires, no battery, but everything else looks real damn...

So this was dropped off in my garage yesterday. Doing some tank work for a guy and he gave me this as payment. Nothing wrong with a free motorcycle. Motor has compression, brand new carbs, side cover has a whole in it, so it leaks real bad right now...haven't even started messing with this...

Here is a rough start on Justin's tank. All the metal work is finished, been testing different paint to see what sticks best. Scribbled down an outline last night about 40x and kept testing different paints...i think i've cracked the code, now its time to lay down some patient awesome shit.

Hello gents, and ladies where applicable, So in my haste (which i know makes waste), i seem to have misplaced the small ball bearing seen in the attached photo. I was curious if anyone had a diameter on the steel ball as i've got a plethora of steel balls floating around my garage floor...

So...after weeks of work and lots of fun, i finally put my bike back together. New additions: removed airboxes, added pods, removed battery, added capacitor, replaced plugs and plug caps. It kicked over just fine, electrical worked like a charm, no problems what so ever...until i came back...

This cherry was purchased with only 7,500 original miles. Its coming along nicely, just wanted to give a sneak peek...more pics to come.
