    Dumb question, air filters+rain

Rode a CB750 with pod filters in a monsoon a few years back, every couple of miles I had to pull the clutch in and clear the carbs out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Upgrades for charging system? ‍♂️ cb750 dohc

Ditch the regulator and rectifier for the solid state unit. It cured most of my charging issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Left side won't run past idle. Order of operations? CB360

I had the same issue with a CB360. Have your coils checked and tested, as well as the plug wire and boot for any cracking. Check your valve adjustments, turn it over by hand and check both exhaust valves and measure how far they travel. I ended up having a bad exhaust cam lobe. Wouldn’t allow it...

    Oil on magneto

How much oil? It’s normal to have a little bit laying in the bottom. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

cl360 Pamco installation / kill switch question

Doesn’t matter, as long as it’s getting 12v from a switched source. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Indicator voltage up and down?

I had a similar issue when switching to LED’s where if all the turn signal bulbs were not LED’s it threw the whole system off. What I ended up doing was switching the wiring of the light in the odometer, so it flashed opposite of what it’s supposed to do, and also switched the turn signal...

cl360 Pamco installation / kill switch question

I’m pretty sure the red wire has to go to a 12v switched source, like the ignition switch. The kill switch is only a ground (completes circuit) not sure where the other 12v is coming from, but don’t get the wiring confused. Honda used green and black as ground wire color. Looking at the Pamco...

2 Stroke v 4 Stroke for City Riding

I think it would be cool to do a CR500 Supermoto, could you imagine how much of a pain in the ass that thing would be to ride in the city? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2 Stroke v 4 Stroke for City Riding

2 strokes. They are noisy, especially any exhaust mods you do to them. It’s going to run hot as hell sitting in traffic without any airflow. Terrible fuel mileage, are you pre-mixing or oil injected? Longevity of the top end on a 2 stroke is shorter. Doesn’t make much power down low, unless you...

2 Stroke v 4 Stroke for City Riding

Four stroke would be the best for city riding. Chances are, you’ll never get out of second gear. Two strokes.....too much to explain why not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    1974 CB360 Engine Troubles (I think)

If the needle dropped down.....in my case it was stuck. But anyways, his issue isn’t with it running rich, it’s getting it to light initially. Removing the one plug wire doesn’t change anything. He said after letting it run, the right side is warm, while the left side is hot like it’s supposed...

    Totally bizarre electrical issue...see video

Go back through and check all your grounds, back of the headlight, and oddly enough, I don’t know what kind of handlebars you’re running, but some of CB’s handlebar switches clamped around a grounding/locating lug on the stock bars. I came across this issue a few times. Sent from my iPhone...

    1974 CB360 Engine Troubles (I think)

I had a similar issue on a CB360t that is used to have. The float in the right side carb was screwed up. Like the tang was broken off for the float needle. But the right side pipe would get really hot, like it was running super lean. You’re saying that it’s cold/warm points in the direction of...
