I'm installing a set of mikuni carbs on my CB360 project. Will I need a different throttle housing for the single pull cable? I hooked it up to my stock housing but it doesn't seem to snap back like it should. It will "work" like it is but it doesn't seem right.

I got the bottom case buttoned up last night and the engine is currently sitting on the bench with the side covers still off. Can I use the kick start and get a compression reading or does it need to go all back together to do this?
76 CB360.

After a long hiatus I tore back into my CB360 project. I pulled the bottom case to replace the kickstart shaft and I'm in the shop now ready to go back together. I've never been into a motorcycle case before. I have hondabond. Do I put a thin layer on both sides before I put it together...
I am in need of the hinge pieces, pin, and latch that bolt to the seat on a CB360.
Also, I might be in the market for a fuel tank. Mine is salvageable but will need completely stripped and repainted. If anyone has a really nice tank with good paint that could be used as is, I would be interested.
I got my old tires off this evening. The plan for now is to clean these up as good as I can and run them for a bit too see how interested I get into this project. I cleaned up the rust inside and much as I could, will these be ok to run?
Also, I haven't tried cleaning the hubs up, are they...
I'm in the middle of rebuilding my front forks. I cant get the Allen bolt at the bottom of the tube to break loose. I've watched the common motor videos and I've tried to hammer a socket wrapped in tape into the other end but I cant get a bite. Any other suggestions?

I didn't pay attention to this when I took everything down but it looks like my tank is too wide at the front where it hooks into the rubber bushings.

I'm building my first motorcycle so this is probably a noob question.
I'm looking for a tracker style seat with a upsweep in the back. I am going to keep the stock airboxes and battery. I have found the universal seats on Ebay but they look pretty thin and uncomfortable. Anyone have any...
Well I got my "excellent condition" kickstart shaft from a seller on Ebay today. Sucker is cracked right in the same spot mine broke at. I need one if anyone has a good one to sell.

Im looking for pics of different dual sport tires and sizes on the CB360.
My project bike is a 76 CB360. It currently has some old dry 100/90 18 fronts and 110/90 18 rears on it. I have read that these are too big and I need to stick closer to the stock size. The only dual sport tire I can...
I picked up a 76 CB360 last week from a guy I work with. I had mentioned getting an older bike to tinker on and he fixed me up! I've restored old Willys jeeps and 2cyl john deere tractors in the past but never worked on any motorcycles. I had an 84 Honda xl80 when I was a kid but that's about...
It looks like someone a lot bigger than me jumped down on my kick starter. The shaft is bent and it is cracked where the bolt cutout is. It does still work but I might as well fix it now. It looks like I will have to split the case on this unit afterall. I looked at the service manual but was...
I just picked up a 76 cb360 from a guy at work. He claimed he picked it up in a package deal and the engine is stuck. I got it home tonight and the po had filled the crank case with what smelled like transmission fluid. I stuck my cord camera down the spark plug holes and they were dry. I...
