I have a slightly used Avon RoadRider tire. The tread depth measures 7/32" . The date code is 2515 which means it was made in June 2015. $45 shipped in the US.
Thanks
Scott
Yes and no. They looked glitter but played a dirty gritty sound.
OK we're talking first. NY Dolls were a bridge. They were a huge influence on the Ramones. No Dolls, no Raw Power, no Ramones. Here's the problem. As much as everyone claims the Ramones were a huge influence there are really...
NY Dolls
It doesn't matter what you label music. In your mind the Ramones were the first punk band, but they were absolutely influenced by the bands that came before them like the Stooges and NY Dolls. The Stooges are out because they were in the wrong place. That's fine. The Dolls came...
Bob Heath visors should have clear ones. Give them a try. Great company and really easy to do business with. http://www.bobheathvisors.co.uk/index.html

Not really: There are risks with older helmets but they are not the same as wearing a bandana on your head. A NOS vintage helmet will offer the same amount of protection or close to it that it did when new. The major concern is the shell. Poly (plastic) shells are effected more by UV or...
You're glorifying the original cafe racers if you think it was all about function over form. How many leapord print seat covers were on those 50s bikes? Remember cafe racing is about road bikes not race bikes. It has always been a look or style with a modified stockish road bike. The...
No not really. Just about every modern motorcycle jacket is made out of cow hide or somer other hide, but not horse. Horse hide is like selvidge jeans, old school materials that are way overpriced today to fit some "culture". Jeans aren't selvidge anymore and motorcycle jackets aren't horse...
Thanks Tim. After reading the review I have talked myself out of buying one of these jackets. I have a few modern riding jackets and want to hold out for a real vintage jacket.

I contacted the seller and inquired about the thickness of the leather. The jacket is made with 1.1 mm cowhide but said they could upgrade to 1.3 upon request. A 1.3 mm cowhide jacket with CE approved armor seems like a respectable motorcycle jacket. I may be getting one of these.

This is a Shoei ES2 with a new tint visor from Bob Heath Visors. For a 70s helmet it is suprisingly light. It needs a reline and some pinstripes.

Has anyone bought one of these on ebay?
The real TT Leathers jackets never seem to come up in adult sizes. I probably already know the deal on this jacket but am hoping its not made from the same stuff purses are made from. Anyone have any info on leather quality, thickness, and fit while on...
Originals have age hardened and with exposure to UV are brittle. LPM makes great sidecovers. They fit like OEMs and are nice and thick.
Here is an LPM cover on my CB750:
Check out http://www.fb-stuff.com/fb-stuff-store.html for sidecovers as well. These are made in the USA by a member on...
