    1989 Yamaha sr250 fix up

Have you tried spraying some starter fluid into the intake to verify spark will ignite a mixture? If that doesn't work, I'd check timing and coil. Verify that you have good enough spark under compression and timing is set properly. If you get it to fire on starter fluid, triple check all of...

    1980 KZ440 Parts or overhaul?

Keep the 400 wheels on the 400. Turn the 440 into what ever you want. They make nice bobbers. If you look under the specials, you'll see my build. I went more standard/sport. I was going to cafe it, but the lines are not ideal.

Dans CB350 Cafe build - first bike and build

The lighting/ignition issue sounds like a good theft deterrent. ;-) And the bike looks great! Wish I could work that quickly!

For those with pinhole or slightly larger leaks

I should say, this is silver bearing solder. Unsure of the percentage, but it states its for metal work. 430F melting point.

For those with pinhole or slightly larger leaks

Time will tell. I've read that silver solder should work as well as brazing.

    1982 Kawasaki KZ440 LTD

Got the tank sealed. Have the process in a thread in the Tanks and seats section. The major leak repair shown here. Also got the exhaust sorted out. Emgo shorties with baffle mods (welded a washer across the exit and drilled holes around the baffle perimeter).

For those with pinhole or slightly larger leaks

I was able to successfully solder my two leaky tanks using a Wen 450 watt soldering iron, silver solder (Bernzomatic brand for metal work) and flux. The tank was drained and left open for a month. I've also read that it needn't be drained fully, but I wasn't willing to try that route. There was...

    1975 Honda CB125S

6v headlight finally gave up the ghost to the 12v battery. Would like to convert to LED. Thinking H4 LED conversion using the existing lense. I'll need to cut a hole in the back of the headlight, remove the current headlight guts and get an H4 bulb holder affixed to it.

What did you build this week?

No problem! Figured it was a voltage divider. Thanks for the tip!

What did you build this week?

Sonreir™, can you post the circuit you're using for that? I could use something on my CB125S converted to 12v.

Newb with 1969 CB350 K0. Project Dr. Cafe Racer

Looking forward to this! Welcome! Doesn't look half bad. Want to find an early CB350 twin myself. For shiggles, flip the clubmans over and see if they're more comfortable that way w/the stock peg location. The grips shouldn't be too hard to pull off and swap. Bar end mirrors maybe? Avon...
