    I used the cast iron on an NTV as it was a close match to the original colour. Also used the aluminium and satin black on a few Ducatis, and a CB750.

    It's a 1973 T500. A local dealer asked me to do a few little jobs, the worst being cleaning the inside of a very manky fuel tank.

    Maybe a little more than that, but not much more. Btw the bike should run without a working fuel pump if the tanks over 3/4 full.

    NTV's are great bikes. By far the best dispatch bike that I've owned. Managed to squeeze 312,000 miles out of a 600.

    Most chrome platers wouldn't touch an exhaust. Ceramic coating might be an option.

    You could buy a small Ultrasonic cleaner for less than £90, and do the job yourself. It's very easy to do....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKBdvmGYWQM EuroCarbs, and Gutsibits stock Dellorto rebuild kits, and any other parts that you're likely to need.
