    '82 Moto Guzzi v50 Rebuild/Redesign

Yeah, you'll probably like it; I was impressed with how well they worked on my V50 Monza. I ended up delinking mine anyway though since I wanted some consistency between my bikes. I rarely use my rear brakes on the other bikes I ride and the single front on the Guzzi was marginal at best. If...

A couple of tanks and seats

Yeah, shit. I hadn't thought about that. Even with some sort of isolator, I'd be concerned about resting the tank directly onto that backbone. Lemme noodle on that for a bit...

A couple of tanks and seats

Man, I gotta apologize for being such a pain. The dimensions look good, but I think that tab off the back is gonna put a hitch in my get-a-long; I think I'd wanna mount the tank Norton style, with a SS strap. Can that tab be removed without comprising the integrity of the tank, or can you cast...

A couple of tanks and seats

Yeah, I fully dig that FB tank. Problem is, it will definitely need to occupy some space that is currently occupied by my seat. Would you mind throwing a tape on it and measuring the distance in the pic so I know just how far I'd need to trim my seatpan? How deep is that mount tab that...

Ever get the chance to throw that tank up on the 550?

A couple of tanks and seats

Well if it was easy, everybody would be doing it, right? So does that f-bed tank use the factory pucks as well? Any idea how it looks sitting on the 550?

A couple of tanks and seats

I'm working on a 550 as well; can you check the fitment of that manx tank while you're at it?

A couple of tanks and seats

Looks good. What provisions does it have for mounting to the frame? It looks like you've eliminated that hole for mounting it to the backbone...

Own an Audi R8 for $470

Haha, the best part of that would be watching the neighborhood street urchins bounce off the garage door when they walk into it. Sorta like the little birdies that bang into the living room windows. Totally worth the price of admission.

Where to buy cb550 rear sets? +PIC

The Tarozzi's that are made for the CB500 will also fit the early 550 frames: If you're not completely opposed to a little DIY, you could also use a set of the universal rearsets and make your own linkage pieces; that's what I did on my 550.

    New Project: '76 CB550

So after bombing around town all summer on the CL175 that I restored over the winter, I decided that what I really needed was something with a little more poop. The little fella is a blast, but I'd like to at least be able to keep pace with traffic on the open road. So, after a week or so of...

New Ohio SR500 Cafe build! (Pic Heavy, like you like them!)

LOL. Sorry to hijack your thread, but I was in the same boat as you last weekend and ended up doing the same thing: That's why I never throw anything away.

    half a cb350

I just went from six to midnight. :o If you want to make it easy on yourself, pick up a set of rearsets from an FZR600; they're about as bolt-on as you can get.
