I bought some smaller profile turn signals to swap out with the enormous stock lights on my new to me '72 cb450.
Installed the 1st one checked it and everything works.
Installed the 2nd one and now none of the four work.
The horn doesn't work either but I've never used the horn before so I don't...
i've got a '75 cl360 with bare bones electrical but since i ditched most of the wiring i've burnt out my h4 halogen headlight. is there a resistor or something i need to put in to prevent this from happening?
thanks guys.
my '75 cl360 wasn't running so i took it to the shop.
bad leak down test and bad compression. they pulled the engine and apparently i have a broken ring. the mechanic wants to bore out the cylinders and put in bigger pistons but it's gonna cost an arm and a leg.
i asked if buying this would be...
the plan is to rewire my 1975 cl360. with a little help from the dtt members i made up a wiring diagram:
i feel pretty good about that but now i need some nitty-gritty knowledge.
what gauge wires do i need?
what kind of connectors should i use?
is there anyway to buy wire by the foot or am...
the plan is to re-do the wiring on my 1975 honda cl360.
so i made up this wiring diagram:
i've never done this before so please point out everything i've done wrong.
i don't have blinkers or electric start or gauges.
you'll notice the rectifier and the alternator both have unused wires...
i love my '75 honda 360 but about 50% of the time i love it as it sits in my parking spot in pieces. it would be nice to have a bike that's reliable. that i wouldn't be paranoid to drive out of town for fear of needing to call a friend with a truck for a ride home.
is there a bike out there...
got new intake boots and gaskets for my '75 cl360 with mikuni carbs.
do the gaskets that go between the engine and the rubber boot need to be glued on or do they just get squished into place?

while adjusting the timing on my '75 cl360 a while back i noticed that the right side points looked messed up. one side had a crater and one a mountain. so i ordered a new set. swapped the right one out fiddled with the plate a little bit because it was sticking last time and then went to set...
put mikunis and pod filters on my cl360 have it jetted well, i think. have only had them for a couple months and just double checked to make sure the jets weren't plugged.
checked the timing and it's a little off but the base plate was sticking and i couldn't get it to move in really small...
hey guys,
i'm going to put in an order for patches. depending on how many i get they'll be 3-4 bucks each plus shipping. wanted to see how many you guys would want before i put in an order. so let me know!
trying to decode the wiring diagram on my cl360.
i'm not running gauges/turns signals/starter so i don't have to worry about those.
horn is easy, the LG wire just needs to ground out.
got the kill switch: when the Bk and B wires connect the bike runs.
headlight on and off: i need to make...
according to the face book page the official opener is april but march 16th there will be an informal gathering. weather is supposed to be around 50 degrees but who knows what it'll actually be like. if it's not raining buckets i'll probably swing by. anybody else gonna be there?
i've got an mb5 and the front disk brake is super stiff. it'll work but i have to squeeze the hell out of the lever to get it to move. what's the likely culprit? i'm a bicycle mechanic so i've got some related experience with disk brakes but i've never seen a bicycle with this problem...
just got the mikuni kit from dime city cycles for my 360. came with a two into one cable and some ferrules and fittings:
my problem is i'm not sure what goes where...
i was told soldering was necessary but i'm not sure what i'm soldering. i'm not sure how the two cables attach to the...
so this,
my parts diagram tells me, is a magnetic starter switch. my wiring diagram tells me it hooks up to the starter motor. if i'm doing kick-start only do i need it?
