Its been 12 years since I first proposed this idea. I'm amazed its still going!
I don't know how many years its been since my last post... 5? 6? more? Anyways, My bike is almost rebuilt and better than ever. Could I get the bell back some time this fall for some Pacific North West Costal riding?
Thanks^
Its not an exact clone, its just inspired. Style wise I prefer the wire wheels. Im researching passivley on a gold wing swap or something with spokes and dual discs. I can lock the rear by stepping on it hard enough, so its not the end of the world. The oil cooler is on the to do list...
Re: 79 CB750K RCB Clone-ish. Stretttccchhh the tank.
Been away, a few updates.
It will be done with paint and a much better bracket system for the fairing. I might even make a new windscreen. I cant stop anywhere without people walking up and asking questions about it.

Re: First Rides of the year, post up some pics!
First ride of the year? If my weather looked like that I would have been out by months. I have a 20 min ride to work, -5 is still a little chilly for the bike not to mention ice potential.
I dont know man, Its damn helpfull to look up a schematic whenever I work on something away from home or send pictures of a problem to someone for advice.
BTW, riding and driving what I do, its only a good idea because I have and will break down in the future.
Get something that you can ride without working on off the bat. Its easy to get in over your head. Only do mods you can take care of over a weekend and etc.
How big are you? My first bike was my 750, keep im mind I'm 6'4 and around 220# or so. It needed to actually fit me.
