    1982 Suzuki GS850 Bobber

the bikes looks pretty great right now. keep up the good work. I have wasted tons of money on 6 or 7 project bikes and can tell you that cv carbs hate hate hate hate hate pod filters. just my 2 cents, but I would keep the air box. I know it looks cooler without it, but a running bike is a lot...

Building a "first bike" for my 17yo son...

this bike is looking awesome. I wish my dad would do a project with me. I think having his welding skills might mean I could turn out a decent bike for once. having the ability to fab parts like you might help also. awesome bike dude. your son is lucky.

    1984 Yamaha TR1 from Belfast

dang, dude. your bike looks great. I bought an 82 xv750 last year on a whim of Hageman fanboyism. I realized pretty quickly that my back wasn't going to put up with those ergonomics, and turned it into a pretty sweet little bobber. I had to sell it to make a payment on my dumb ex wife's house...

    1981 CM400, Project "Dorothy".

what did you do with all of the electrical junk? on my cm200, there's a big flasher, r/r, and like 2 other big and ugly things all strapped around the battery/airbox area. i want a big open spot like yours, but i dont know how to pull it off. sadly my skillz are not quite that good yet.

    82 honda cm200

mohabie, i like your cm400 a lot. i had another project, a dr250s enduro that turned into a cafe racer, that turned into a hideous, tiny dirtbike bobber thing. it had a little more of an actual seat then your cm400, but it wasnt quite as good looking.

I took it out for a short spin around the neighborhood. Maybe about a mile and a half. I found out i am too tall for clubman bars on this little bike. i cant turn well because the bars hit my knees. oh well. it was really good getting.to.ride. its been about a year and half.

Bit by bit by bit my bike shapes up slowly. i have vowed to take no pics until i get the wheels back on, but i feel.like breaking that vow. I put the bar end turn signals on and ive got a small air filter on, duct taped onto the rubber intake boot, lol. ill be getting another filter the right...
