I've went to princess auto on an unrelated hunt and checked out their gloves as well. They didn't have what I wanted and usually big box stores like Home Depot have only large sizes. I ended up getting a nice pair from ebay (US made). I'll definitely try and make it out to the grand opening...

Yup. Very cool event. The bikes inside which were built by Jason were awesome. If someone has pics please post.

They did do a good job of matching the bike to the character. In the original Sweedish movie she rides a modern bike. The cafe cb350 has the right mix of independence, anti establishment non conformance and originality fitting with the character.
