    CL450 Top End Rebuild?

Flugtechnik thanks for the response. I just cleaned them up. So if they would just need the same process as tuning, I will simply replace the cam and line it up and then adjust the valves after correct?

    CL450 Top End Rebuild?

It has been some time since my last post, mainly due to being busy with school. I have(very slowly), taken apart my motor to replace the piston rings. I also replaced the cam chain and the rollers that sit next to the sprocket on the exhaust side. My question now is that, when I reinstall the...

Here's a couple of pictures of subtle upgrades so far. Took some satin black rattle can to the taillight housing and put a new taillight. Threw on one of the 7" satin black headlight buckets on as well.

    1974 Cl450

The first chance I had to work on my bike, I pulled the tank off and used some metal rescue to get rid of the rust. It worked like a charm, I had also seen in a post to put screws in and shake the tank, which helped to lift the remaining 10% or so of the oxidation in my tank. Simultaneously, I...

    1974 Cl450

So, I procrastinate on everything. However, I figure it's time to get my build thread up. About a year ago I bought this '74 cl450. It is my first bike and only vehicle. This is how the bike looked when I first picked it up(although I've this far lacked any skills/resources for any major changes...
